Door
Packages
AT HALSTOCK, DOOR PACKAGES ARE DEVELOPED ALONGSIDE THE INTERIORS THEY BELONG TO, ALLOWING DESIGN, PERFORMANCE AND INSTALLATION TO WORK TOGETHER.
In high-end residential projects, each door is rarely identical. Materials change from room to room, ironmongery varies and detailing must align with wall finishes, panelling and furniture. For this reason, we approach doors as part of the wider joinery package rather than as a separate supplied item.
Because door ironmongery, hinging and fire performance affect openings and wall interfaces, coordination often benefits from being considered early in the project.

DEVELOPED WITH THE DESIGN TEAM
Our technical door specialists work alongside architects and interior designers to refine detailing and coordinate openings. We help develop ironmongery schedules, review construction details and ensure doors integrate with the surrounding joinery and building fabric.
Door components frequently carry longer lead times than surrounding finishes, so establishing these requirements early provides clearer direction for the wider project team.
Our role is to translate design intent into something that can be manufactured and installed successfully.
INTEGRATED WITH THE INTERIOR
Doors often sit between spaces with different materials, finishes and functions. A dressing room may meet a corridor, a panelled study may open into a hallway, and each side of the door must belong to its setting.
Our doors are made by the same cabinet makers who produce our kitchens, dressing rooms and panelled interiors. This keeps proportions, detailing and finish consistent throughout the home.

DEDICATED DOOR SPECIALISTS
We maintain a dedicated team focused on door packages, supported by technical designers and workshop equipment designed to handle large and complex doors safely.
From individual residences to large properties with extensive door schedules, each piece is manufactured with the same care as a piece of furniture.
Complexity is managed through experience, coordination and preparation.
COMPLIANCE AND PERFORMANCE
Halstock fire doors are independently assessed and IFC-certified. Certification depends on the door being considered as a complete assembly, where construction, ironmongery, installation and detailing all work together.
Our technical specialists resolve these elements so the visual intent can be maintained while meeting regulatory requirements. Working with architects, interior designers and contractors, we develop solutions that are buildable, compliant and coordinated with the surrounding joinery and building fabric.
By coordinating design, technical development and manufacture within one team, we aim to make complex door packages clear and manageable for the wider project. If you would like to discuss an upcoming project, we would be pleased to hear from you.
