The Role

We are looking for a Trainee Aftercare Technician to join our team and develop the practical skills and knowledge required to support aftercare, maintenance and small works projects across our completed installations.

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to build a career within bespoke joinery, furniture installation and aftercare services. Previous experience within joinery, cabinet making, furniture installation, construction or maintenance would be beneficial, but the right attitude, willingness to learn and pride in producing high-quality work are equally important.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will learn how to carry out repairs, adjustments, snagging and remedial works while supporting planned maintenance and small installation projects.

The role will involve regular travel to client properties, primarily in London, with the potential to work across the UK and occasionally internationally.

Our projects include bespoke kitchens, dressing rooms, libraries and architectural joinery for prestigious residential properties, where professionalism, attention to detail and craftsmanship are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting aftercare and maintenance work on completed projects
Assisting with repairs, adjustments and replacement of hardware and ironmongery
Supporting snagging, remedial works and modifications to existing installations
Assisting with the installation of small works projects on site
Travelling to client sites, primarily in London, to support planned works and surveys
Taking site photographs, notes, measurements and other project information
Maintaining accurate records using digital reporting and project management systems
Liaising professionally with clients, installers, subcontractors and internal teams
Assisting workshop teams with preparation, manufacturing and modification work where required
Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high standards of workmanship at all times

– Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
– Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
– A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced team members
– The ability to work independently on assigned tasks and effectively as part of a team
– Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively
– A calm, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
– Reliability, initiative and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
– Experience within joinery, cabinet making, furniture installation, construction, maintenance or a related trade is desirable
– Experience using digital reporting tools or project management software is desirable
